The 2011/12 BSS Australia National Training Camp will once again be held at the Currimundi Active Recreation Centre on the Sunshine Coast, Qld. National Technical Director Carl Harrison said, "after the success of the 2010/11 National Training Camp and the high quality of the facility it would be unthinkable to use a different venue." Carl went to say that, "the pitch is of such a high standard that even during the torrential rainfall and devastating floods we experienced in January, training did not have to stop, the sand base pitch was perfect."

Players will be selected from each franchise centre to attend this years training camp with the view to put together an excellent squad for next years tour of the UK.

Centre managers and directors of coaching will be selecting players over the next few months for this special event. The national training week involves every BSS coach from around the country. The players benefit from exposure to the best coaches from all centres.
